HOUSE RULES
The following are the House Rules of the Teutonia Männerchor and shall remain so subject to change by the Board of Directors, as circumstances require, and by ratification by the membership.
1. The Teutonia Männerchor shall be open to the members during designated business hours, and regulated by the Board of Directors.
2. Only members in good standing are permitted use of the Club facilities and permitted to purchase food and beverages both in the building and Biergarten.
3. Beer, wine, liquor and soft drinks may not be brought into the Club from any outside source. Generally, all food items must be purchased on the premises. However, depending on the availability of food service because of a scheduled event, there will be certain situations in which food may be brought in from outside the Club. Please refer to the email announcements for those circumstances.
4. Any member who brings a guest or guests shall ensure that the sign-in book located in the front vestibule or the outside beer kiosk shall legibly set forth the name of the member, the member's number, and the name of the guest or guests. (Guests include spouses of members who are not themselves members.)
5. Reservations / tickets for any special event shall be limited to four (4) by any member except by special authority of the Club Manager.
6. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests. Any destruction, or damage to the club or the club property, shall be the responsibility of the person committing the act. That person shall be liable for restitution for any damages committed. If any destruction or damage is caused by a guest, the member who brought the guest shall be liable for those damages.
7. Profane language or boisterous behavior is subject to punitive action by the Board of Directors.
8. Gambling, solicitation for any non-club events, or the advertising of non-club events or the selling of tickets for any non-club events shall not be permitted on the premises, unless sanctioned by the Board of Directors.
9. Teutonia Männerchor is not responsible for lost or stolen articles of clothing or other items. Members and their guests attending events in the Sängerhalle are encouraged to utilize the coat room located in the rear of the hall.
10. Use of the Club's pool table shall be free of charge for members and their guests. Any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years is prohibited from using the pool table. Use of the pool table shall be determined by the Club Manager or Board Member depending upon other club activities at the time the request is made.
11. Any individuals under the age of twenty-one (21) are not permitted to be seated at the bar in the Ratskeller. Any minor child on the premises must be supervised by a responsible adult. Minor children are not permitted use of the Club's pianos.
12. In consideration of fellow members, all members and their guests occupying seating in the Ratskeller or Sängerhalle dining areas are required to obey the directions of the Club Manager and management personnel.
13. Wearing Apparel
- Smart Casual is the minimum attire for both men and women members and their guests at Sängerhalle events unless specified otherwise.
- Traditional Tracht is always acceptable.
- Relaxed / Casual dress is the minimum attire for both the Ratskeller and the Biergarten.

- THE SERGEANT AT ARMS, HIS DESIGNEE, OR CLUB MANAGER SHALL ENFORCE THE DRESS CODE, AND MAY REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY MEMBER OR GUEST INAPPROPRIATELY DRESSED
14. Private parties are available with terms of each event negotiable with the club manager. A planning guide for each event shall be provided that sets forth the pricing and cost structure for each event.
15. All Members must be identified at all meetings. Each member attending a meeting shall display his or her proper membership card and be signed in with their correct Membership Number.
16. Any and all German language classes held on Teutonia premises will be for the benefit of Teutonia Members and their guests only.

Failure to comply with any of the above could cause possible loss of Membership and its privileges.
