At the picnic grounds now known as the Croatian Center, but on road, off Babcock Boulevard north of Millvale, this has been the traditional park for German events since the 1850’s.
The annual club picnic will be held starting at noon. Brats, Weisswurst, Sauerkraut, cakes, etc. – will all be available for purchase. Mädel Jäger Band will be performing on stage from 2pm to 6pm and there will be games for the kids as well.
Sorry – no grills permitted by park rules. Come enjoy the picnic with friends in this Historic setting - just a short drive from Teutonia, just five miles from the club – easiest way is to get on Rt 28 and get off at Millvale exit – then get on the main Street of Millvale – Grant Ave, turn right at its end onto North Avenue (will turn into Babcock Blvd.) - pass Geyer Road and Girty’s Run Road and watch for the Teutonia Picnic sign on the left at (Shuetzen Park Rd. – as spelled by MapQuest) Go up this narrow road carefully and pass the Allegheny Shooting Club and continue up to our parking.
