Do you think you have the best chili recipe ever? Then prove it by participating in our chili-auskochen (cook-off) Sunday, Nov. 10th from 1pm to 4pm.
Current and active members are invited to bring their best chili in a slow cooker, hot and ready to serve. We encourage a variety - meatless, spicy, white, or surprise ingredients.
Each member submitting Chili will name their chili - - example:
“volcanic eruption" -- and a rating for heat level -- 1 mild to 10 extreme. Contestants will remain anonymous so as not to sway the judging. Please email me your name, chili name, heat level, and special ingredients.
I will print each label. Please arrive 30 minutes before the contest.Members and guests will get a ballot for voting.
Small bowls and spoons will be provided so that everyone can have a separate bowl for each chili tasting.
Winners will be based on the most votes. Judges’ voting will be final.
This is a Building Fund fundraiser. We are in need of replacement HVAC equipment. There is a $10.00 entry fee per chili entry and $5.00 fee per guest tasting.
Music will be provided by the Clint Bleil band.
Weather permitting this will be the last biergarten event this year. If the weather is bad, we will have it inside.
