ALPEN SCHUHPLATTLERS 2019 SCHEDULE STARTS WITH A SMILE

The Alpen Schuhplattlers don’t have many performances during the winter, but that doesn’t mean we stop dancing. Our children’s and adult groups are learning new dances and reviewing older ones. We’re hard at work practicing plattling, spinning, and waltzing – the building blocks of our traditional dances.

It’s great preparation for our performances in the spring, summer, and especially the fall!

Highlights from our 2019 spring schedule include:

Saturday, March 30: Heimatabend. 7:30pm @ Teutonia Männerchor. We’re planning a special performance for the Teutonia’s annual talent show. Want to find out more? Come to Heimatabend!

Sunday, March 31: Father-Daughter Dinner. 2:30pm @ Teutonia Männerchor. The Schuhplattlers will lead the dancing at the Teutonia’s Father-Daughter Dinner.

Saturday, April 27: Alpen Schuhplattler 55. Stiftungsfest. 8:00pm @ Teutonia Männerchor. Celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Alpen Schuhplattlers with the Youngstown Saxon Brass Band as our musical guests. Tickets are just $12 adults/$6 kids 12 and under. Please contact Marina Ruggiero at 412-491-0577 or marina@ruggiero.net. Dinner is available for a separate charge.
